The Taggart Family has been welcoming guests from throughout the world to Montalto House since 1957 and has established a reputation for comfortable and friendly accommodation and tasty, home cooked food.
Montalto is located on 110 acre mixed farm and was built in 1893 with an additional wing built in 1912. It has 5 en-suite bedrooms plus a single room with its own bathroom close by. For the comfort of guests, each room is supplied with a hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities and a colour TV. In the cooler months electric blankets are also supplied for each bed. Guests are welcome to relax in the Morning Room where they can read, meet other guests, play board games or watch TV. Internet access is also available. Montalto is located on high ground overlooking the town of Bushmills, which is only 10 - 15 minutes walk away. The rooms have either panoramic views of the countryside or of the North Antrim Coast towards Portballintrae and the Giant's Causeway. The house is set in a large mature garden of shrubs and trees with an extensive lawn.
Montalto is ideally situated for visiting the Causeway Coast - Dunluce Castle, Old Bushmills Distillery and the Giant's Causeway are all within approximately three miles
